These are two examples of the type of aerial images we can provide. Aerial oblique photography, to the top left, is an exceptional tool in that the image provides the user with a 3-dimensional tool to present a specific idea and create maximum impact. Each photograph is created according to your specific requirements. The image to the left is a vertical or 2-dimensional plan view. The vertical images we produce are non-engineering grade, not designed to be used for precise measurements, but for use as a cost effective, preliminary planning tool. The images are created on 6x6 medium format film. The standard lens we utilize is a 50mm, which provides a basic 1 to 1 ratio. ie 1000' above ground = 1000' across on the film. The airplane ceiling limit is 13,500', or about 7000 to 8000' above the ground in the Albuquerque area. Panels can be placed on the ground that allow us to enlarge the images to approximate scales for the lower altitude assignments. Example 1" = 200'
All image coverages, oblique and vertical, are based on the camera lens used (i.e. wide angle, standard or telephoto), the altitude of the shooting platform (i.e. airplane, helicopter, van platform), and the angle of the camera--then we can add custom digital graphics to the image to tell the complete story. The possibilities are almost unlimited. Call to discuss your needs! Click on the images to see the full-size photograph. Return to Services Available page. |
